It's been an interesting week in Arkansas, and we aren't done yet as of the post of this blog. You may have heard quite a bit of weather nets this week on my systems and even some weather spotting activities by both myself and other hams. This is what it's all about for me. We will be connected to various nets that help locals not only hear current statuses, but ongoing spotting reports. The system covers a lot of the state and I custom tailor it, as needed. There is a lot of cooperation happening now, which is exciting and well overdue. I will do what I can to support these groups as things pan out. Until then, we've got embedded weather alerts in the ham radio equipment, as well as the Baxter GMRS repeater. We will also link to nets that are happening for real-time reporting. Batteries charged and stay safe!
